Habibi Kiosk: Does Munich need a feminist sexhop?

Habibi Kiosk: Does Munich need a feminist sexhop?

Date/Time
23. February 2022
19:00 - 20:00

Location
Habibi Kiosk

Sex is one of the most shameful, taboo, and stereotyped topics. When sex is discussed, it is usually from a male, cis, able-bodied, and hetero-normative perspective. What does this do to people who don't fit into these templates? How does it affect us as a society to not be able to speak freely about such issues? What kind of prejudices and problems exist around sex in queer communities? And how can we change all this?

We will talk about these questions and more together with journalist and presenter Kathi Roeb (host of the podcast “Willkommen im Club”/ BR Puls, among others).

Kathi Roeb is hosting the LGBTIQ*-Podcast “Willkommen im Club” (“Welcome to the club”) by PULS, which is the young content network of the Bayerische Rundfunk (BR; “Bavarian Broadcasting”, a large and well-known public-service radio and television broadcaster based in Munich). Together with Julian Wenzel, she has been getting to know different queer communities for six seasons and discusses topics and problems of diverse environments.

About LesCommunity meets Habibi Kiosk: In a 10-part series of events, Habibi Kiosk and the lesbian-queer association LesCommunity e. V., which has been active in Munich since 1986, would like to take a look at a wide variety of topics in the LGBTIQ* communities together and make a wide variety of perspectives and people visible.

Die Veranstaltung findet im Habibi Kiosk und im Livestream (Kammerspiele Website, Youtube, Vimeo und Facebook) statt und ist kostenfrei. Here leads you directly to the website of the event of the Münchner Kammerspiele.
